We have abandoned traditional extensive processing methods. Using the L9(3⁴) orthogonal design method, we established the optimal extraction process: 8x the volume of 60% ethanol, followed by two 1-hour extractions in a water bath under reflux. This process efficiently and evenly extracts total saponins and flavonoids, laying the foundation for high yields in subsequent purification.

How To Extract Thymoquinone From Nigella Sativa4.2 Purification Process: Using AB-8 macroporous adsorption resin, the sample solution was controlled at a pH of 5.2 and adsorbed at a flow rate of 2 BV/h. Elution was then performed using 5 BV of 70% ethanol at a flow rate of 3 BV/h.
