4.1 Extraction Process
We have abandoned traditional extensive processing methods. Using the L9(3⁴) orthogonal design method, we established the optimal extraction process: 8x the volume of 60% ethanol, followed by two 1-hour extractions in a water bath under reflux. This process efficiently and evenly extracts total saponins and flavonoids, laying the foundation for high yields in subsequent purification.

4.2 Purification Process: Using AB-8 macroporous adsorption resin, the sample solution was controlled at a pH of 5.2 and adsorbed at a flow rate of 2 BV/h. Elution was then performed using 5 BV of 70% ethanol at a flow rate of 3 BV/h.
