They are the dry leaflets of Cassia angustifolia Vahl and Cassia acutifolia Delile of the leguminosae plant. Narrow-leaf senna is mainly produced in India, Egypt and Sudan; pointed-leaf senna is mainly produced in the upper and middle reaches of the Nile in Egypt, and has been introduced in Hainan and Yunnan in my country. Leaf senna: The leaves are mostly complete and flat, long ovate or ovate-lanceolate, 1.5-5cm long and 0.4-2cm wide.
