Horse Chestnut Extract powder is the brownish-yellow color extracted from the dry mature seeds of Aesculus chinensis Bge., Aesculus chinensis Bge. var. chekiangensis (Hu et Fang) Fang or Aesculus wilsonii Rehd. 1.2 Chemical composition

(1). Saponins
Aescin is a mixture of more than 30 saponins extracted from the seeds of Sala, and belongs to pentacyclic triterpene saponins. The main forms are α-aescin and β-aescin.
Hydrolyze aescin with alkali to obtain aescin, acetic acid, tiglic acid, glucuronic acid, and glucose of equal molecular weight. Aescin can be hydrolyzed under strong hydrolysis conditions to obtain equal molecular weight aescin, α-methyl-β-hydroxybutyric acid, acetic acid, glucose, xylose, and glucuronic acid.
(2). Flavonoids
Contains quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucoside, kaempferol-3-O-β-D-galactoside, quercetin-3-O-[β-D-xylosyl (1→ 2)])-β-D-glucoside, quercetin, kaempferol-3-O-[-D-xylosyl (12)]-D-glucoside, kaempferol-3-O-[ -D-xylosyl (12)] [-D-glucosyl (16)] -D-glucoside, kaempferol-3, 7-O-L-dirhamnoside, kaempferol-3- O-D-glucoside.
(3). Organic acids
