2. Details of the source of extraction
Phosphatidylserine Powder Bulk is a naturally occurring component of food and is also present in breast milk. Phosphatidylserine is found in meat and fish, with higher levels in the brain or internal organs (e.g. liver, kidney). The amount of phosphatidylserine in dairy products and vegetables (except beans) is very low.
KINTAI produces a white or light yellow loose powder that emulsifies in water. Phosphatidylserine (PS), also known as serine phospholipids, diacylglycerol acyl phosphoserine, or PS for short, is a class of ubiquitous phospholipids, usually located in the inner layer of cell membranes, phosphoglycerides of phosphate ester compounds, which are one of the cell membrane components and are associated with a range of membrane functions. Especially in the human nervous system, it is one of the important components of the cell membrane of the brain and plays an important regulatory role in various brain functions (especially in memory and emotional stability), such as it affects the fluidity and permeability of the cell membrane and activates the metabolism and synthesis of various enzymes. For example, phosphatidylcholine (19%), sphingomyelin (8%), phosphatidylethanolamine (16%), and phosphatidylserine (10%) are present in human red blood cell membranes.
Only the latter has a net negative charge on the cell membrane, contributing to membrane asymmetry. It also activates already damaged surface thrombospondinogen.
