Raw Material Pretreatment and Extraction Select

carefully chosen degummed flax seeds and pulverize them to increase the extraction contact area. Use a 60%-70% ethanol aqueous solution as the extraction solvent, adding 1%-2% alkaline substance (such as sodium hydroxide) to promote the release of lignans from the raw material. A staged extraction method is employed to improve efficiency. For the first extraction, add the above-mentioned alkaline-alcohol solvent at 10 times the weight of the raw material and extract with stirring at 55-65℃ for 3-5 hours.

After separating the extract, perform a second extraction, adding 5 times the amount of solvent and extracting again at the same temperature for 2-3 hours. Combine the two extracts and precisely adjust the pH to 6.5-7.5 (neutral) using a dilute acid (such as hydrochloric acid or acetic acid) to terminate the reaction and ensure stability in subsequent steps.

Initial Concentration and Extraction Purification

Transfer the neutralized extract to a vacuum concentration apparatus. Under conditions of 60-90℃ and a vacuum of 0.6-0.9 MPa, distill to recover the ethanol solvent (the recovered ethanol can be recycled after rectification), obtaining an alcohol-free extract concentrate. Add 3-6 times the volume of ethyl acetate as the extraction solvent to the alcohol-free concentrate.

Use a 70% aqueous ethanol solution containing 1-2% acetic acid (or hydrochloric acid) as the eluent to efficiently elute the linseed lignans specifically adsorbed on the resin, collecting the high-purity lignan eluent.

The eluent is concentrated again under reduced pressure to recover ethanol, yielding a high-concentration flaxseed extract pulp. The concentrated pulp is then fed into a spray drying tower for instantaneous drying under precisely controlled temperature conditions (inlet air temperature 220-230℃, outlet air temperature 95-105℃) to obtain a free-flowing, fine brown to light brown powder.
