【Original】It is also known as Xinmu Ti District Terrestris. It is the whole plant of the Scrophulariaceae Eyebright Euphrasia officinalis plant.

【Habitat and distribution】Grows in hillsides and field grass. Produced in Inner Mongolia, Hebei, southeast Henan, northern Shanxi, western Gansu, southern Ningxia, Qinghai and

Xinjiang, growing in shady grasslands or shrubs. It is distributed in Mongolia, the Russian Far East and Europe.

【Plant shape】Annual herb, 10-20cm tall. Stem erect, less branched, dotted with slightly curly white hairs, mixed with a few glandular hairs. Leaves opposite, obovate to oblong-rhombic, apex obtuse, base wedge-shaped; each side bears 2-4 blunt or pointed teeth, densely covered with short glandular hairs. Terminal spikes, dense flowers, leafy bracts; corolla with 2 lips, yellowish white, upper lip with 2 lobes, lower lip with 3 lobes, apex slightly concave. Capsule oblong, almost as long as the persistent calyx.
