Clinical Application of Tranexamic Powder

• Clinically, it is mainly used for various bleeding caused by acute or chronic, localized or systemic primary hyperfibrinolysis.

1. Oral administration of tranexamic acid for the treatment of melasma

The recommended dose of tranexamic powder is 250 mg twice a day, and one course of treatment is 3 months. Generally, the spots begin to fade significantly after 1-2 months of medication. Mild to moderate cases usually see significant improvement after 6-12 months of medication. Kintai recommends that patients with melasma take the drug for at least three months. The longer the course of treatment, the higher the effect.

2. External use

Wet compress: Use makeup remover cotton or gauze to soak tranexamic acid injection in the morning and evening, apply directly to the face, and absorb it. It can also be used with repair and moisturizing products, such as medical masks, etc.

Note: For those with abnormal barrier function, early topical use of tranexamic acid will have a slight pricking feeling, so it is recommended to repair the barrier function before use;

3. Injection
tranexamic powder can be added to the water light alone or in combination with glutathione or VC and other ingredients for water light injection, or it can be introduced through a roller needle.

Common specifications of tranexamic acid injection are 5ml:0.25g and 10ml:1.0g. Generally, 0.1-0.2g is enough for each use.

Precautions
