Goldenrod Extract 

 

[Alias] Sticky vegetable, rag leaf, golden bupleurum, wild yellow chrysanthemum, hazel.

[Origin] It is the whole plant or the whole plant with roots of L. Salisb.(syn. Euthamia graminifolia (L.) Nutt) , a plant of Compositae.

[Plant Morphology] Perennial grass, whole dry grass is 30-100cm long. The rhizome is short and thick, grouped with fine light yellow roots. The stem is cylindrical, the lower part is smooth and glabrous and the upper part is hairy; the diameter is 0.2-0.5 cm, the surface is yellow-green, gray-brown or dark red-purple; the texture is brittle, easy to break, and the section is fibrous and myelinated. Leaves simple alternate, often shriveled and broken, complete leaves ovate or lanceolate when flattened, 1-9 cm long, 0.3-1.5 cm wide; apex slightly pointed or blunt, entire or irregular slightly serrated, base extending into a handle. The inflorescences are about 0.7 cm in diameter, arranged in clusters, with a few yellow tongue-shaped flowers remaining, many narrowed and twisted, 3 layers of bracts, ovate-lanceolate, small achenes and yellow-white pappus.

[Habitat distribution] Grows in mountains, forest edges, hillsides, roadsides.
