2.Introduction of plant extract source
[Basic Source] It is the dry ripe fruit of Crataegus pinnatifida Bge.var.major N.E.Br. or Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. of the Rosaceae plant.
[Alias] Shanlihong, Suanzha, Shanliguo.
[Habitat distribution] It grows on the edge of hilly forest or bush at an altitude of 100-1500 meters. Distributed in Northeast China, North China, Jiangsu and other regions.
[Plant form] Hawthorn is a perennial deciduous tree with a height of 3-6 meters. Bark dove gray, branched, prickly. Leaves alternate or clustered on short branches, with long petioles, leaves broadly ovate or triangular-ovate, 5-10 cm long, 4-6 cm broad, separated by 3-5 pinnate on both sides, apex acuminate, The base is broad wedge-shaped, with sharp heavy serrations on the edge and short hairs on both veins. 10-12 flowers form a corymb; sepals 5, green; corolla white, petals 5; carpels 5, inferior ovary. Small spherical pommel, 10-15 mm in diameter, dark red with whitish spots. The flowering period is from May to June and the fruiting period is from September to October.
Red deciduous tree in the mountains, 4-8 meters high. Bark dark brown, much branched. Thornless or thornless, 1-2 cm long.
